A new month means a new beauty round up, baby! My shopping and skincare addiction are alive and well and ready to serve you the truth. Catch all my thoughts on my purchases this month below.

For moisturized and full, glowing skin:
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid and the Vitamin-C moisturizer from Ole Henriksen are a fire combo for me.
The hyaluronic acid is very hydrating but also pretty light weight so it doesn’t feel like it’s clogging my pores or suffocating my skin. I’ve seen some improvement in the brightness and fullness of my skin. For only $6.80, it’s definitely worth even as a replacement for regular, more expensive moisturizer. 10/10
I got the vitamin C cream as a beauty deal using my Insider points so, it’s the miniature size. It is on the pricier side at $46 but, it’s a good compromise for some of the other vitamin C-focused products. It goes on a little thicker than other ‘gel’ moisturizers so the it doesn’t spread as well but, I think that’s a good thing since it is supposed to provide moisture and vitamin C to seep in the skin. I think I’m going to wait until I’m completely out of my other moisturizers to buy this one but, I did really like it and will eventually purchase it. Also, it’s ‘Clean’ by Sephora, which means it is free of ingredients like sulfates, parabens, formaldehydes, phthalates, and mineral oil. 7/10
For the skincare lover looking for soft, even, and brighter skin:
Alright, this is a HUGE splurge. I tried the 7-day trail from a Sephora code and currently, the 30 pack is sitting in my cart. This daily peel comes in the form of two pads that you use back-to-back and claims to visibly reduce dullness and uneven texture, pores, and dark spots.
Personally, I LOVED it. It made my skin so soft and smooth in just the week that I used it! I will most likely be purchasing it in my next round of beauty orders but it is going to hurt my wallet a little. If you’re still a newbie in skincare and invest mostly in cleansers and moisturizers, this would be more of a nice to have. However, if you’re a pro at your skincare routine and you’re looking to take it to the NEXT level, this is a game changer.
I’d say try it out using a code/sample first and go from there. 8/10 because of the price.
For weekends out on the town or date night:
The YSL Opium perfume smells AMAZING but, it is a huge splurge that I am not ready to pull the trigger on. There is a dry oil version of it that combines my two favorites things: smelling amazing & glowing like a star. It definitely doesn’t have the same long lasting affect of the eau de parfum but, it does linger for a few hours & keeps your skin glowy and soft. If you’re looking to test out a smell that’s more on the sexy side for Friday and Saturday or date nights, I’d give this one a shot. However, it is definitely a nice to have. 7/10 because it’s not a NEED.
Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara THIS IS IT, OKAY. Listen to me, if you don’t get anything else on this list, THIS MASCARA IS THE ONE. It’s literally only $4.99 (for a single) or $14.97 for the 3 pack and it leaves my lashes looking long, full and just as good as all the expensive mascaras I’ve used before. I’m so obsessed with it, I had to tell Instagram about it. AND you can get it on Prime. 11/10.
