Packing for your next getaway? Here is a list of all my must-have, favorite accessories that make my travels easier and more organized!
So far this year I have taken over 10 different flights all over the world and while that doesn’t make me an expert, I’ve definitely learned some lessons on packing strategies and need. And what kind of virtual bff would I be if I didn’t share the secrets with you too? Let me give you the tea on my top 8 must-haves.
Get in, friends! We’re going on vacation.

Packing Cubes
These do make a difference and they are so affordable there’s no reason not to try them. I organize my cubes by individual outfit, theme, event or by location if I am going to multiple places on my trip. Plus, some sets include a laundry bag which makes it SO much easier to toss your dirty clothes in the wash as soon as you get home.
Simple, affordable Amazon option & the splurge version
Toiletry & Make-up bags
Always pack toiletries & make-up in your carry-on in case of lost luggage or emergency post-travel events. Basics: not too big (so it fits), not too sturdy (so it’s flexible in your luggage), and cute. Some of my faves are the Beis & the Leatherology but, also… you can get these for $8 at TJ Maxx.
Cord Organizer
There is nothing more annoying that digging into your bag and pulling out a mess of wires, none of which you are actually looking for. This case helps keep from tangling, messing, and losing everything I need to keep up with my tech.
Honorable mention here to portable chargers, which have saved my life many of times.
Water Bottle
There is nothing more annoying to me than waiting 15 minutes in an airport shop to buy a $10 bottle of water that will get warm in 30 minutes. Remember to bring your own empty so you don’t get flagged at TSA and fill it up when you get to your gate. Please invest in an insulated one and thank me later.
Hydration Packets
These have been lifesavers lately. I drink one everyday especially while traveling since it’s so dehydrating and exhausting. Pop one of these in your water bottle for a boost of health and flavor. These are my favorite kind – 0 sugar, subtle flavor.
Noise cancelling headphones
Personally, I am OBSESSED with the Wireless PowerBeats Pro. I’ve had them for over 3 years and have never had a problem plus, they are one of the more affordable options of the big label brands. You can Pause, Play, or Skip songs and control the volume directly on the earphone.
I’ve also seen people with the Beats Studio3 Wireless, Apple AirPods Pro, and the AirPods Max.
Kindle
….and for when you’re sick of your playlists or your ears hurt because you’ve had headphones in for 4+ hours, a good book will make time fly by. You can purchase books instantly (when on WiFi) on your Kindle or you can use apps like Libby to check them out of your local library.
Cheers.
